The Stearns Back Country is a well made, robust inflatable canoe. It is very light and packs down to a relatively small size making it easier to transport than a rigid Canadian Canoe or Kayak. This also makes it a good choice for river trips – you can arrive at your destination, pack it up and return to your starting point via public transport.
The Stearns Back Country has five air chambers including the comfortable chairs.
Kayak paddles are an option for paddling if you prefer them to canoe paddles. It might be worth buying sea kayak paddles for their extra length, as the high sides of the inflatable canoe prohibit Kayak paddling slightly.
